Certified in 2022, AC Lopez Construction is currently a participant in the 8(a) Business Development program, qualifying as eligible to compete for the program's sole-source and competitive set aside contracts. The government authorizes sole-source contracts to 8(a) participants up to 4.5 million without going through the formal justification process.

Certified since 2015, AC Lopez Constructions has participated in the HUBZone program assisting the federal government in fueling small business growth in historically underutilized business zones.
